A self-described "sports mom" to five kids, joined the Board in 2020. Sharda serves as a coach and winter clinician, and her two daughters - a pitcher and a catcher - play at the 10U level. In addition to helping players develop their athletic abilities, Sharda is passionate about the role of youth sports in building confidence, determination and gumption in young girls, transferable skills that can continue to serve them in life both on and off the field.
Dave Lindstrom
Dave has been involved with Hopkins Fastpitch since 2009 as a coach and a board member. He has served as President, Vice President, and Equipment Manager. He is currently assisting the equipment manager even though his daughter has aged out of our program.

Shannon Crowell
Equipment Coordinator

Shannon has served on the board since December of 2017 and he has 3 (yes 3!) daughters who play Hopkins Fastpitch. Shannon has been very involved in the association for years serving as a head coach, an assistant coach and a winter skills clinician.
Sara Jessen, Uniforms, Spirit Wear and Umpire Coordinator
Sara Jessen's interest in softball began in high school as a player in a recreational program. Sara's daughter has
participated in the league since 2011 and in 2014, Sara joined the board and has served as a coach at the D2
and 10U level. She is very excited to help grow the program and in addition to her executive position she helps
with marketing, fundraising, coordination of travel umpires, and special events.

Dan Dohse,
Dan has served on the board since 2014 and can also be seen coaching at the 12U level. Dan assists in player and coach development for Hopkins Fastpitch and is a lead clinician at our winter skills clinics.

Carl Yancy
Carl was named head coach of the Hopkins High School team in the fall of 2018 after serving many years as the assistant coach. He has coached at the community, club, high school, and college level. He previously was actively involved in the Eden Prairie association serving several leadership roles when his daughter played there. Carl is a non-voting member of the Board.
