Who we are
Hopkins Fastpitch is the only community based fastpitch softball association within the Hopkins School District. Fastpitch is how softball is played at the junior high, high school, and college levels. Our goal is to provide a fun, casual environment where girls can learn and develop the skills and fundamentals necessary to advance in the game of fastpitch softball. The girls in our league learn to play many different positions and learn to react to numerous game situations and while doing so will form friendships and memories that last a lifetime.
Hopkins Fastpitch fields softball teams, representing the communities of the Hopkins School District, including Hopkins, Minnetonka, Golden Valley, Edina, St. Louis Park, Plymouth and Eden Prairie. We provide age appropriate opportunities for girls ranging from Kindergarten up to age 16. We believe it is important to teach girls the proper fundamentals of the game from an early age, as they are the building block for future success in the game. Hopkins Fastpitch is the primary "feeder" program for the Hopkins High School fastpitch program. As evidence, 100% of the 2014 Hopkins High School varsity roster played in our program.
