Evaluation Day is scheduled for this Saturday, March 7th. All 10U and 12U players should attend. If you are unable to attend, please let us know in advance. The evaluations will be held at Hit Dawg Academy. 2050 East Center Circle, Building F, Suite 300, Plymouth, MN 55441
Volunteer Deposit Check: If you did not provide us with a $100 check at the parent meeting this week to secure your volunteer commitment, you can bring it to Evaluation Day.
Uniform Sizing: We will have uniforms available to check sizing if you want to verify you ordered the correct size. Please allow time before or after your daughter's evaluation to do this.
Uniform Re-purposing: If you have a jersey that no longer fits, you may turn it back in at Evaluations. We want to build an inventory of uniforms to be able to offer re-purposed jerseys at a discounted price. You will also receive a credit towards future registrations.

A few logistical items to note:
What equipment do we need to bring?
Players should bring their glove, bat, helmet, and fielding mask if they prefer to wear one. We will also have bats and helmets available for use.
The evaluations are on turf. What shoes should should be worn?
Players can wear plastic molded cleats, turf shoes, or tennis shoes. Metal cleats will not be allowed at Hit Dawg.
What is being evaluated?
All players will progress through ground ball, fly ball, and hitting stations. Defensively, they will be evaluated on their fielding ability, arm strength, throwing accuracy, and defensive fundamental skills. At the hitting station, they will be evaluated on bunting (not 10U), hitting, and swing mechanics. They will also be assessed on attitude, hustle, and effort.
Can I watch?
Access to the evaluation area is limited to players, evaluators, coaches, and designated workers. The lobby at Hit Dawg is relatively small, and we want to ensure we have room to check in the next group of players while they wait for access to the gym. We would encourage you to come back at the conclusion of your daughter’s evaluation time.
