Hopkins Sports Board Meeting

Monday July 16, 2007

1) Molson started with opening remarks

2) There was no Secretaries report to approve, Molson noted that the report was written and will be available by the next meeting.

3) Treasurer’s Report was reviewed and approved as written. Reports include Income Statement Month & YTD, Profit and Loss statement and P&L Detail, and reconciliation detail report

4) Mark Peterson & Nat Wagner presented a proposal to build a alliance with Hopkins Sports. The club team is asking for assistance with a field for a 16U team in exchange for additional help with specialty clinics during our winter gym. A conditional approval was given based upon the outcome of Hopkins fastpitch getting access to an additional field.
TASK: M Gallagher to be Hopkins point person on seeking additional field space for next year at BSM.

5) NClemens gave a Fall Ball update, registrations were slow to come in. several teams were still playing and it was thought many potential players were still getting ready for post-summer season play. Nancy ready to finalize the coaching and team formation by first week in August.

6) THathaway described the Fall Ball tournament details, 8 team format with left/right bracket. Date is set for September 8^th. Ted is looking for some assitiance to work as field crew and concessions.

7) THathaway gave a short update about equipment.

8) Recap of the summer teams with coaches or assistants present for several teams.

9) Meeting adjourned at 9:47 PM
