1)
M. Peterson
started the meeting with opening remarks.
2)
Taxes for the organization
were filed for 2004 but not for 2005.
Taxes were due May 15th.
Nonprofit status has lapsed. Form
has been resubmitted. Have copy of
Letter of Determination from the IRS. M.
Wiste presented April and May financials, along with the current bank balance.
Final tally of monies raised from the Royale not yet available but it’s
anticipated it should exceed $13,000. M.
Wiste was given invoices for Metro Athletic and DePaul for uniform
purchase/printing. Treasurer’s Report
was approved.
ACTION: M. Wiste to file extension for taxes.
ACTION: M. Wiste to check status of non profit
status.
ACTION: M. Wiste to send copy of Letter of
Determination to M. Olson & D. Meyer
ACTION: Biffs satellite will be at West Jr. High
starting May 1. Jim to contact K.
Johnston regarding placement of satellite and potential reimbursement for
damage from last year. Meredith to be
placed on the billing address

Secretary’s
Report was approved as written.
4)
Discussed what
priority of funds to be used for from the Royale (Extensions for backstop and
netting a high priority). M. Peterson to
meet with Kevin Johnston regarding field upgrades.
5)
M. Grahek
submitted paperwork to the Minnesota Twins fund for $5K for field
improvements. Anticipate we will hear
back in July.
6)
Evaluation
Committee report by J. Thibault.
Committee is done meeting for the season. J. Thibault resigning as head of this
committee. Will look at 12U team
formation as part of evaluation process next year.
7)
Rampage
tournament scheduled for June 3-4. Trophies
and new t-shirts have been ordered. We
will be selling items for Image Sports at the tournament and will receive 25%
of the profits.
8)
Summer Softball
Update. M. Schaefer working field usage
at Guilliam. K. Thibault umpping 10U’s
as a fill in when umpires do not show.
M. Wiste has bill for 14U evaluations.
C. Eischens to purchase waffles, first aid kit and dimple balls
fromMetro. J. Thibault to order 144
visors for purchase by players/parents.
Will pay L. Peterson to help coach the 16U Black team and Melissa
Johnson for the 14U Blue team.

Old Business – T.
Hathway looking for feedback to player/parent survey.
10)
Old Business –
Bill for pitching machine repair was presented to Meredith. Need pitching machine back from High School
program.
11)
New Business –
Fall ball league – no information available as of yet. Program will again run 5 weeks (late August
through September). Registration will be
early August.
12)
New
Business: Cleaning of the garage to
occur Monday at 6 p.m.
13)
