Hopkins Sports Board Meeting

Attendance: M. Peterson, J. Thibault, C. Eischens, T. Undis, D. Meyer, R. Rivett; J. Rouse; J. Clark; T. Moynihan, F. Ricco, T. Moynihan

1) M. Peterson started the meeting with opening remarks.

2) Minutes were approved as written.

3) F. Ricco/R. Rivett gave treasurer’s report and it was approved. Bulk mailing permit now available. Tax return is in progress

4) M. Peterson discussed Winter Gym. Jen is paid through today for winter gym. Winter gym will end near the end of April.

5) Question was raised whether Hopkins varsity was using our pitching machines. T. Undis has serial numbers and will check in to the cost of security keys (keys that can’t be duplicated) for garage doors.

ACTION: T. Undis to contact locksmith to re-key locks for garage and service doors

ACTION: M. Peterson to talk to Coach Randolph about field/garage needs

6) Registration for Summer 2003 is still underway. Looks like we’ll have the following teams – 10U (1 team); 12U (2 teams); 14U (1 team); 16U (2 teams); and 18U (1 team). Will continue recruiting additional players to round out the teams.

ACTION: ALL - Need to firm up numbers so uniforms can be ordered

7) J. Clark discussed equipment.

ACTION: J. Clark to contact getting catcher’s gear back from Michelle Eck, Molly Anderson and Kelli Ramstad if they are not playing with us this season.

8) Next Evaluation Committee meeting is April 6^th at 11 a.m.; Next Board meeting will be April 21^st at 7 p.m. Meeting adjourned
