Board Meeting

Attendance: M. Peterson, C. Eischens, T. Undis, D. Meyer, R. Rivett; J. Rouse; J. Clark; T. Moynihan, F. Ricco
1) M. Peterson started the meeting with opening remarks.
2) Minutes were approved as written.
3) Treasurer’s report approved. New trading pins were ordered at a cost of $1.47/pin. Taxes and insurance has been completed.
ACTION: F. Ricco to provide teams with insurance waiver and travel permit.
4) Winter Gym is now complete. Great sessions –thanks again to all the great volunteers that make winter gym happen.
5) Summer Kickoff Picnic is scheduled for April 28th. F.Ricco to take care of the food and reserving the High School Commons area. T. Moynihan will ensure Metro Sports reps is at the picnic.
ACTION: All coaches to call players about kickoff picnic
6) Practice and games will be played at West and Gillium fields this season. Storage might be an issue at West this year.
ACTION: R. Rivett to check into the cost of PODS after May.
ACTION: F. Ricco to see if we can use the Cushman machine that baseball uses at West.
7) Registration for Summer 2003 is wrapping up. All team rosters posted on the web except the 10U’s. Still need coach for one of the 16U teams. Need to enroll the other 12U team into some tournaments. Looks like we’ll have the following teams – 10U (1 team); 12U (2 teams); 14U (1 team); 16U (2 teams); and 18U (1 team).
8) J. Clark discussed equipment. Anyone needing equipment needs to contact John. Uniforms will be ordered tomorrow. Once available, we’ll send off to printing. Cost of replacement piece of uniform will be $15 for jerseys or black shorts, and black long sleeved shirts will be $8. C. Knight will do field maintenance again this year.
ACTION: J. Clark to contact getting catcher’s gear back from Molly Anderson, Paige Paulson, and Kelli Ramstad if they are not playing with us this season.
ACTION: C. Eischens to do inventory of shirts/shorts/kneepads in garage.
9) New Business: The Suburban League agreed to use League Tracker.
ACTION: R. Rivett to bill Suburban League for League Tracker Use.
