Congratulations to the 2007 team for claiming STATE ACADEMIC CHAMPIONS in AAA as well as Section 6 AAA!!!! Team GPA was 3.934!!!
Team Presentation to Board
On April 19th, the Hopkins Royals Fastpitch
team will present the School Board with the Plaque the team received for the
Highest Team GPA in the Nation. This was
awarded by the National Coaches 
Association for the 2006 season. The presentation will be made around 5:45 in
the School Board room.

The Royals have built a strong
tradition over the years, with outstanding performances on the field 
and
in the classroom. We’re proud of our student-athletes and look forward to this
strong tradition of excellence to continue.
Heading the coaching staff is
Anne Campbell, who led the Royals to a State Championship in 1997 and runner-up
in 1998.
Rounding out the coaching staff are former HHS All-Stater Jenny Hempel, who will assist with varsity; Jen Hall, back as JV coach; and B Team coach Stephanie Johnson. Mark Peterson, president of Hopkins Sports, will serve as the program’s volunteer pitching coach.
